The cottage was well-equipped and had amazing amenities including a super king bed, coffee maker & milk frother, and a great Bluetooth speaker. the views of Horseshoe Bay were stunning and we even had the pleasure of being visited by a Kaka on our balcony. the free WIFI was much appreciated, and having a car included in our stay allowed us to explore the island and fit more into each day. The cabin was surrounded by trees and included a free car to get around. Complementary drinks and snacks were provided, and the cabin was cozy and comfortable. the location was great, with stunning sea views and nestled amongst native bush.
The bathroom products were low quality and there was no natural option. the cabin's internet access was unreliable and frustrating.

We recently stayed at a hidden gem in Stewart Island and had an incredible experience. The cabin we stayed in had a spacious and comfortable bed with luxurious linens, a phenomenal shower, and breathtaking views of Horseshoe Bay. We were even lucky enough to be visited by a gorgeous Kaka on our balcony. The use of a car provided by the hotel was a major bonus, allowing us to explore the island easily. The peace and tranquility we found at this serene location exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for a blissful getaway.

The lush and verdant setting of the hotel was perfect for a romantic escape, with birds chirping all around. The view from the room was breathtaking and provided a great vantage point to see the sun dipping into the water. The best part was the car that was provided to guests, which made exploring the area a breeze.
The hotel fell short in terms of amenities. The absence of a landline phone was concerning in case of an emergency.
